Chloe
Musical Theatre

Chloe’s passion for the performing arts started aged 7, where she began learning to play the piano and vocal, dance and musical theatre training. Chloe has trained at both LIPA and Elliot Clarke Performing Arts College. Both these established schools helped develop her skills and the correct techniques needed within a variety of dance styles, along with acting and singing.

Chloe has performed at many shows and gigs, some of which are well known musicals: Wicked, Moulin Rouge, Bugsey Malone, Chicago and many more (Chicago and Wicked being her favourite). 

 

Chloe graduated from University with a 2:1 BA (Hons) degree in Musical Theatre. Graduating from University, gave Chloe the drive to want to further her knowledge and skills within singing and the voice. In 2022 she qualified as a Vocal Health First Aider: she understands vocal health,vocal wellbeing and can advise/ guide students through vocal troubles.

 

Chloe is delighted to start her journey at Showbiz as their Musical Theatre Teacher and promises that she will use her knowledge and skills to help teach, encourage and support her students in the best way possible. But most importantly to have fun filled Saturdays doing what we do best!!!!

Tom 
Drama

Tom graduated from Edge Hill University with a First Class BA HONS Degree in Drama. Tom started as an actor many years ago and later found his true passion in directing and playwriting. Tom's debut play 97+ a drama based on the Hillsborough Disaster, recently performed multiple shows at Liverpool Theatre Festival earning ‘10/10 perfect’ reviews.

As well as running his own theatre company, Tom works as a Drama Practitioner on Violence in Education Reduction Workshops throughout primary schools in Merseyside, a sports coach, a Children’s Entertainer at GoTales Formby events and a freelance Director and Drama Workshop Leader.

Tom can’t wait for his newest challenge working at Showbiz Performing Arts using his experiences in working with young people and his directing skills to make our Christmas Showcase and first musical - High School Musical, the best it can be and help put our students through LAMDA examinations to create some Showbiz superstars!

Tom 
Film-making

Tom is a first-class graduate in Film Studies and Film Production from Edge Hill University, he grew up in the Ceiriog Valley, North Wales. His debut documentary, Autism: A Curious Case of the Human Mind, earned Best Feature Documentary and Best of Festival awards at the 2017 Carmarthen Bay Film Festival, with the film going on to also receive several nominations around the world. His following project, Sticks and Feathers, saw his work awarded with the Best Factual Film prize in 2018 at Hothouse Theatre’s Nottingham Film Festival. Despite his success within the documentary format, Thomas has also directed several award-winning fictional short films whilst he prepares to direct his debut feature film in the near future.

Tom is really excited to share his knowledge and experience with Showbiz students, teaching the next generation of filmmakers.

Georgie
Film-making

Georgie has had a lifelong interest in film and TV ever since she was first taken to the cinema at the age of 5! Her love of film was cemented whilst taking film studies at college which in turn led her to study Media Production at the University in Cardiff. She continued to do a Masters degree in Animation at UCLan and now enjoys her full time work as a graphic designer and animator at a local real estate company. 

 

Georgie is so excited to bring her love and enthusiasm for all aspects of film and tv to showbiz and share her passion with the next generation of Spielbergs and Lucas'!

Carla 
Little Stars

Carla is absolutely thrilled to be a part of the Showbiz Performing Arts Academy team! She is passionate about the Performing Arts Industry, and it has been such a huge part of her life growing up. Carla is so excited to empower as many children as possible at Showbiz and encourage each child to shine in their own light. Carla believes Performing Arts is an encouraging and positive environment for growth, building social skills and making lifelong friends.

At age 6, Carla started singing, dancing and musical theatre lessons and fell in love with how much you can express yourself in a way that is true to you. Carla began training, taking exams, performing in shows, charity events and dance competitions. She then went on to study Musical Theatre at College and LIPA part time amongst dance training at many schools around the UK which led to the most amazing experiences, working with incredible dance artists, acting on soap, commercials, music videos, film and joining a theatre company. She has been teaching for 6 years now and the most important thing to her is that your child feels safe to be themself, to connect, create and grow in self-belief.
