Singing Teacher Wanted - Join Us!

​

We’re looking for a passionate, positive singing teacher (Musical Theatre) to join our growing Performing Arts Academy in Ormskirk.

​

The Role:

• Group singing tuition on Saturdays, teaching large ensemble groups (approx. 20 students) and:

  • Teaching group songs, harmonies, and ensemble technique

  • Preparing students for a full-scale musical theatre production

  • Supporting smaller performance opportunities throughout the year

• Private 1-to-1 singing tuition during the week, supporting students to:

  • Build confidence and self-belief

  • Prepare for musical theatre exams, auditions, and performance opportunities

We are happy to consider:

• Two different teachers (one for 1-1 tuition, one for Saturday group teaching), or

• One teacher able to offer both, with the opportunity for more work and growth

​

Experience & Skills:

• Minimum of 1 years’ experience teaching large group / ensemble singing or experience as a musical director.

• Strong musical understanding, with the ability to teach group songs, harmonies, and vocal balance.

• Experience preparing students for musical theatre performances

• Confident working with students aged 6-18 (taught in age-appropriate groups)
